USB Car Adapter
Information on finding a great USB car charger or other type of car charger
In today’s technological age, taking a car ride just ain’t what it used to be. When most of us were children (unless we are very young), going on a long cross-country drive meant playing loads of games of “I spy,” counting how many red cars there were on the road, and the interminable refrain of “Are we nearly there yet?” In fact, I’m almost sure that this latter aspect of the joys of auto travel was probably what prompted the invention of the USB car adapter.
The USB car adapter is a versatile little gadget, which is used to charge and run a car stereo. Now that car stereos are so commonplace, your little ones can be kept quiet and amused during long drives with endless CDs of music, children’s stories, and other fun. And it doesn’t matter how long your journey will be, because the batteries on the stereo will never run out.
The USB car adapter can just keep them running on and on. For this reason, you would probably be best advised to make sure never to take any CDs that are too annoying with you otherwise you might find yourself playing them over and over again for your entire five-hour cross-country run.
The USB car adapter has turned road travel into an experience that can involve almost any activity other than driving. For instance, don’t think that the fact that you are riding in someone else’s car means that you can have a short rest from work. While you are sitting in the car, you can plug your laptop into the USB car adapter, and your office is right there. During your trip, you can also juice up your iPod or MP3 player, ensuring that you will have music even at the end of your journey.
In fact, the USB car adapter means that while you are driving to your favorite vacation spot, you can also run and charge your camera and your camcorder, as well as your Blackberry and don’t forget your iPhone either. Just plug your USB car adapter into the car’s cigarette lighter facility and it will do everything for you. Well, almost. They have not yet invented a USB car adapter that can make the tea, but I wouldn’t be surprised if that was the next step in this very innovative technology.
The only disadvantage of the USB car adapter is that it means that you can no longer use your car as an escape route from the rigors of daily life. Going for a long drive will not cut you off from your phone or your office, and you can no longer offer the famous excuse of, “Sorry that you couldn’t get hold of me, but my phone ran out of battery.”
But if we balance this factor against the advantages of being able to ensure that we don’t waste any time while out driving (and the fact that it makes life easier for us by keeping the kids quiet), we can see that the USB car adapter is a very vital and useful piece of equipment.
